  Going down hill - when this McAlister's first opened it was great. Wonderful customer service, clean, attentive staff that kept the dining room cleaned up and normal sized portions. Our family had dinner there this past Saturday evening (although I was skeptical b/c my last few times there I have noticed it starting to decline) and we very disappointed. We were there after the dinner rush had ended and the dining room was a mess. Couldn't find a clean table and there was food all over the floor as well. We cleaned the surface of our own table. The staff seemed to be enjoying themselves back in the kitchen laughing and carrying on - but no one was paying any attention to cleaning up the place or checking on customers like in years past. The food was sub par. I ordered a chicken club and had about 4 pieces of quarter- sized chicken (quarter as in the coin!) on my sandwich, with a side of fruit - with about 6 pieces of squared fruit- about 1/3 of the cup was full. My son's toasted cheese was nowhere near being warm and the 3 other family members meals were also not impressive. I'm not sure if it's under new ownership or management - but if they don't improve things - I'm sure it will just be another empty slot in the not too distant future. Portion sizes have drastically reduced as well. They probably need to get rid of their huge- square sized plates which makes the portions look even tinier.

  My wife introduced me to their awesome sandwiches. I've been hooked since. The place is clean and the service was quick.
